The other day when I was watching cat videos on Youtube, I'm kidding! No, not really, if I'm honest. Anyway, an ad popped up about a drowning prevention detection system. I was intrigued, so I clicked through to learn more.
Â
It seems like an excellent product. It's called the Wave w10. It's a portable tracking system that you can bring with you to any body of water.Â
Â
The swimmers wear a tracker headset or a clip that attaches to their goggles. Non-swimmers wear the BuddyTag, which is attached to their clothing or swimsuit.
Â
The Wave w10 alerts you when the swimmer has been underwater for more than the specified amount of time. You set the device to how much time that is. It also detects the non-swimmer when they've entered waist-deep water.
Â
Having this tracker in your possession doesn't permit you not to watch the children in and around the water. It's just an extra layer of protection.
Â
With a water watcher (for
more info on what a water watcher is, click here) and the Wave w10 backing you up, you'll have piece of mind when making memories at the pool or beach with your family this summer.
Â
So after checking out the website and learning all about this innovative tracking system, I checked out the price. I was shocked. It's $1465.00. Is it just me, or were you also expecting it to be less too?
Â
Anyway, they do have a pay-over-time option. And to be honest, it's probably worth every penny. You can't put a price tag on the safety of your children.
