Wow! It's been very wet here lately. In my eight years of living here in the desert, I don't think I've seen this much rain. Unfortunately, it flooded our garage. So I spent some time in the garage yesterday unpacking some wet boxes of books and photo albums.
Within one of the photo albums of old family photos from the 19th century was a document that my Father had written depicting some fascinating facts about our family that dated back to the 17th century. One of those facts is that I had a great great great great great aunt who lived to the ripe old age of 125 years. Hard to believe, but it's true.
MEET ALEXA
Alexa is 3-years-old. She has mastered breath control which means that she can hold her breath underwater for 10 seconds.
The next step in the learn to swim process is assisted floating. My video shows you how to introduce assisted floating.
The goal is to float with a kickboard for 10 seconds. Once she’s mastered floating with a kickboard with a perfect body position, then she’ll be ready to learn how to float independently.
Hope you enjoy the video.
