As of May 25, 2018, The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) went into effect. The (GDPR) is a legal framework that sets guidelines for the collection and processing of personal information of individuals within the European Union (EU).

And even though I live in the United States, I still have to abide by the GDPR, since I have subscribers from the EU.
